Summary
My name is Cody and I am a marketing professional with a foundation in outdoor and recreation. I hold a B.F.A. in Communication Design as well as a long list of amazing clients and industry experience. I am ingrained in the culture, trends, and waves of the cycling community.
An offroad racer since a young age, I was running around Baja, Mexico at 16 years old – racing, chasing, and experiencing life on the road with professional race teams in a dangerous and foreign place. This experience is just one of many adventures to these amazing places to ride bikes.
I have also worked across the west as mechanic and sales specialist with over 10 years in the cycling industry. I am very comfortable maintaining a fleet of abused demo bikes and can perform any maintenance task from truing wheels to pressing bearings.
Over time, I have adapted to life on the road. My Tacoma is set up with solar, heat, and all the comforts of home. I take advantage of coffee shops for light work, use gym memberships for hot showers, and have fallen in love with the convenience of wash and fold services on my travels. I have picked up many tricks for efficient and comfortable work while on the move. I consider myself a professional nomad!
I enjoy meeting new people and promoting my network. Keeping a cool head and thinking positively under pressure helps me to maintain confidence and achieve objectives efficiently. While I enjoy recognition for my achievements, I am equally happy to see others praised for their hard work. I feel that it is important to live in the moment and take nothing for granted.
Open minded and comfortable with change, I adapt well to new situations and am always ready to leap enthusiastically into the unknown. As a pragmatic thinker, logic and reason are invaluable tools that I use to my advantage in order to get to the core of any problem.
My vision and execution make a powerful compliment to any sales strategy. I pride myself in producing new paths forward while supporting these ventures with the dexterity to achieve true success.
